Mysterious loud 'boom' heard in Bengaluru

"Our sensors have not recorded any earthquake activity," Srinivas Reddy, Director of the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) says.

Locals in Bengaluru heard a loud mysterious sound on Wednesday and then netizens took to social media and expressed the panicking scenario. According to the information, the loud sound turned into heard inside the town’s Whitefield vicinity at almost 1:forty five PM. While some citizens said they heard a ‘boom,’ and a ‘thunderous noise,’ others felt their houses shake and windows rattling for as long as five seconds. The locals stated they earlier concept it to be an earthquake.

The sound turned into heard as far as Cooke Town, Vivek Nagar, Ramamurthy Nagar, Hosur Road, HAL, Old Madras Road, Ulsoor, Kundanahalli, Kammanahalli, CV Raman Nagar, Whitefield and HSR Layout within the town.

With loads many posts on social media, Bengaluru Police Commissioner stated they're investigating the matter and searching into the purpose of the sound. 

Meanwhile, no harm turned into said anywhere in the city, but, the Bengaluru Police Commissioner said they've asked the Air Force Control Room to test if this changed into a flight.
